Family Requirements

  • Age: Prospective adoptive parents must be between the ages of 27 and 45 years old. Prospective adoptive parents 45 years and older may adopt an older child.
  • Marriage: Married couples only; minimum of 3 years. No more than 1 previous marriage is permitted per prospective adoptive parent.
  • Household: There are no noted restrictions on the number of children residing in the home. However, for infant adoptions, preference is given to childless prospective adoptive parents. All children in the family, age 10 and over, must approve and sign a written consent for the prospective adoption.

Country Information

  • Travel: One adoptive parent is required to travel abroad to pick up the child(ren). One trip with an average stay of 5 – 7 days.
  • Application to Placement: Anywhere from 12 months – 2 years, depending on the age and number of children being adopted.

Available Children

  • Age of Children: 2 – 14 years old.
    • Sibling sets and special needs children are available.
